The cable car under construction in Lachin is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2026, according to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).

Currently, work continues on replanting greenery, constructing the foundations for the cable car supports and terminal platforms, and delivering the necessary equipment.

The project will contribute to the development of the region's tourism infrastructure and create new opportunities for visitors.

The cable car is 1,720 meters long and 300 meters high. The ride takes 6 minutes. The cable car can carry up to 800 people per hour.
