Baku hosts 2nd Forum of Azerbaijani Religious Figures

The II Forum of Religious Figures of Azerbaijan has begun its work in Baku, The Daily Baku reports.
The event is attended by relevant state bodies and religious figures, teachers of religious educational institutions, theologians and specialists, as well as heads of state bodies authorized in the religious sphere of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The purpose of the forum, dedicated to the topic "Constitutional principles of state-religion relations in Azerbaijan: secularism and freedom of conscience", is to promote fundamental constitutional values such as secularism and freedom of conscience within the framework of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty", discuss the rights and obligations of religious figures, their professional development, legal and cultural aspects of state-religion relations, as well as issues related to further strengthening of a multicultural, tolerant environment.
The event will feature panel discussions on the topics of "Multicultural Value System: Legal and Cultural Aspects of State-Religion Relations", "Religious Education and Enlightenment Strategies in the Digital Information Environment", "Educating Youth Against the Background of Global Influences: Modern Methods and Innovative Approaches", and "The Role of Religious Communities in the Social and Spiritual Development of Women".
