In January-November of this year, the Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport ("Azercosmos") exported satellite telecommunications services worth 16.4 million US dollars.
The Daily Baku reports that this was reported in the December issue of the "Export Review" published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
According to the document, this is 3% less than in the same period last year.
In 11 months, about 100 companies from 41 countries imported satellite telecommunications services. The main export destinations were the United Kingdom (4.2 million US dollars), Luxembourg (3.2 million US dollars), Sweden (1.1 million US dollars), Turkey (772 thousand US dollars) and Nigeria (760 thousand US dollars).
During the reporting period, the share of "Azercosmos" export revenues in its total revenues was 66%.
In November alone, Azercosmos exported satellite telecommunications services worth $1.5 million to 35 countries, which is the same as a year ago.
