Azerbaijan’s ICT sector output increased by more than 21% in March

In the first quarter of this year, products worth 601.8 million manats were produced in Azerbaijan’s information and communication technologies (ICT) sector.

This is 9.2% higher compared to the same period last year.

In March alone, production in the sector amounted to 208.7 million manats, which is 21.3% more than a year earlier.

In the first three months of the year, the sector’s share in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) stood at 2%.

It should be recalled that during the reporting period, GDP in Azerbaijan amounted to 29 billion 703.2 million manats, which is 0.3% less compared to the same period last year.
