Azerbaijan’s economy grew by 1.4 percent last year

In 2025, Azerbaijan's gross domestic product (GDP) was worth 129.1 billion manats, representing a 1.4 percent increase from 2024, The Daily Baku reports this with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
According to the data, over the past year, value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 1.6 percent, while the non-oil and gas sector grew by 2.7 percent.
Of total GDP production, 33 percent came from industry, 11.3 percent from trade and repair of motor vehicles, 7.1 percent from transport and storage, 6.5 percent from construction, 5.9 percent from agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.8 percent from accommodation and food services, 2.1 percent from information and communications, while other sectors accounted for 21.7 percent. Net taxes on products and imports made up 9.6 percent of GDP.
During the year, GDP per capita in the country amounted to 12,602 manats.
