Labor pensions will be indexed in Azerbaijan.
According to "The Daily Baku", President Ilham Aliyev signed an Order in this regard.
By the Order, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population is instructed to index the insurance part of labor pensions assigned until January 1, 2026 in accordance with the annual growth rate of the average monthly nominal wage for 2025 determined by the State Statistics Committee, the amount determined together with those additions in relation to labor pensioners who have been assigned supplements to labor pensions for length of service, and the amount of material assistance included in labor pensions from January 1, 2023, the annual level of the consumer price index, and the pension capital amounts recorded in the insurance part of the individual personal account of the insured until January 1, 2026.
The Cabinet of Ministers will resolve the issues arising from the Order.
The decree will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
