Azerbaijan starts exporting grapes to Mongolia

In January-October of this year, Azerbaijan exported 8,455 tons of fresh grapes worth 8.6 million US dollars, The Daily Baku reports, citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the Committee, this represents a 76% increase in value terms and a 70% increase in quantity compared to the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold 6,630 tons (+51%) worth 6.9 million US dollars to Russia (61% more than the figure a year earlier), 464 tons (+20%) worth 535 thousand US dollars to Belarus, 400.6 tons worth 500.5 thousand US dollars to Ukraine (there were no supplies a year ago), 644 tons (+15 times) worth 451 thousand US dollars to Iraq, 228 tons (+81%) worth 124.5 thousand US dollars to Türkiye.
This year, for the first time in 14 years (note: the official statistics on foreign trade in public use are as of 2011), supplies were made to Mongolia (12.8 tons, worth $9,500 US dollars).
