Azerbaijan discusses cooperation with Israel in the field of artificial intelligence

The priority areas on the partnership agenda between Azerbaijan and Israel, including urban mobility, digitalization of transport, artificial intelligence, innovative entrepreneurship and support mechanisms for startups, cybersecurity, as well as prospects for activities aimed at developing human capital with digital knowledge and skills, were discussed, The Baku Baku reports, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Deputy Minister Samir Mammadov and Israel’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ronen Krausz.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on the work carried out and planned on issues discussed within the framework of the 4th meeting of the Joint Commission between the two countries, which was held on November 20 last year. Information was also provided on the activities of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center established jointly with Israel’s Technion Institute, as well as the “Vistar” Center of Excellence founded in Azerbaijan last December through cooperation between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, the Azerbaijan Space Agency, and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
