Azerbaijan and Türkiye have discussed expanding cooperation in the defense industry

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense Industry.

It was noted that within the framework of the visit, V. Mustafayev held meetings with Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, as well as with the Chairman of the Defense Industry Committee Haluk Görgün.

During the meetings, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of the defense industry and its further development, as well as increasing mutual exchange of experience and the implementation of new projects.

It was emphasized that strengthening cooperation is of significant importance for the security and defense sectors of the two brotherly countries, and views were exchanged on the application and development of modern technologies and defense systems.

During the meetings, the sides also discussed deepening cooperation in scientific exchange, joint exercises, and strategic projects in the field of the defense industry.
