Azerbaijan and Syria discuss media cooperation

Chargé d'affaires of Azerbaijan in Damascus Elnur Shahhuseynov visited the Syrian General Organization of Radio and Television.

According to a post by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Syria on X, Shahhuseynov held meetings with Director General Alyaa Barsilo, Director of the Syrian Al-Ikhbariya TV channel Jamil Surur, Director of Damascus Radio Mohammad al-Sheikh, as well as other representatives of the institution.

During the meeting, the Azerbaijani diplomat briefed the Syrian side on the current state of the media sector in Azerbaijan, conducted an introductory visit, and discussed prospects for media cooperation between the two friendly countries.
