Armenia hopes to restore railways to Türkiye and Azerbaijan together with Russia

Armenia hopes to restore the railways leading to Türkiye and Azerbaijan jointly with Russia, said Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan at a press conference, The Daily Baku reports, citing Armenian media.

According to him, Armenia continues talks with Russia regarding work to be carried out on the railways in the Ijevan and Akhurik directions.

Our understanding is that restoration work in the mentioned areas will be carried out jointly with the direct participation of the Russian side,” the minister noted.
