Ukraine has carried out a second drone strike within eight days on the “Lukoil Permnefteorgsintez” (PNOS) facility in Perm, one of Russia’s largest oil refineries.
According to “The Daily Baku”, citing RBC Ukraine, Perm Region Governor Dmitry Makhonin confirmed the attack.
“Today, one of the industrial sites in Perm Region was attacked by a Ukrainian drone. Employees are safe. There are no casualties or serious damage. There is no threat to the life and health of residents,” the governor said in a statement.
Makhonin noted that there is no chemical threat and added that the “drone danger” and “Carpet” emergency regimes remain in effect in the region.
Lukoil Permnefteorgsintez (PNOS), located in Perm, is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries. The enterprise, which is part of the Lukoil group, processes more than 13 million tons of oil annually, including gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and lubricants.
