An additional 932 hectares of land have been cleared of mines over the past week in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released its latest weekly update on mine clearance activities carried out in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, The Daily Baku reports, citing ANAMA.
According to The Daily Baku, citing ANAMA, between December 22 and 28, 2025, 90 mines and 758 items of unexploded ordnance were discovered and neutralized, resulting in the clearance of 932 hectares of land.
It should be noted that during the period of occupation, Armenia contaminated more than 13 percent of Azerbaijan’s territory by laying at least 1.5 million mines. In addition, unexploded ordnance, the exact number of which is unknown, continues to pose a serious threat in Azerbaijani territories.
