A unified plan proposed for the development of the Middle Corridor

A single coordinated plan is necessary for the development of the Middle Corridor.
This was stated by Sergey Revzin, CEO of AGB Energy, a company specializing in oil, petroleum product trading, and logistics services, during the “II Caspian and Central Asia Oil Trade and Logistics Forum” held in Baku.
According to him, countries participating in the Middle Corridor must act in a coordinated manner.
“If this process slows down in Turkmenistan, then developing infrastructure in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan makes little sense. A unified development plan is essential: all countries in the region should apply similar operating procedures and standards. As traders, we often face situations where we purchase goods at one tariff, but costs increase during transportation. This negatively affects business profitability. Our proposal is to set fixed tariffs for a freight year. This would allow companies to plan their operations more accurately and reduce hidden costs,” Revzin said.
