A panel dedicated to Azerbaijan’s multi-vector foreign policy has been held at Ludovika University in Hungary

A panel discussion devoted to Azerbaijan’s multi-vector foreign policy was organized at the Ludovika University of Public Service in Hungary. The event began with an opening speech by Liliana Śmiech, Director General for International Affairs of the university.
During the discussion titled “The South Caucasus beyond blocs: Azerbaijan’s multi-vector foreign policy,” Vasif Huseynov, Head of Department at the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), delivered a comprehensive presentation on the advantages of Azerbaijan’s multi-vector foreign policy and its sustainable international standing. It was emphasized that despite being located in a complex geopolitical environment, Azerbaijan pursues a balanced and pragmatic foreign policy with various centers of power. It was noted that this approach contributes to strengthening the country’s sovereignty, promoting its economic development, and increasing its geopolitical importance.
V. Huseynov also provided detailed information on the peace process in the South Caucasus, the current state and prospects of negotiations on the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, and highlighted efforts aimed at transforming the region from a conflict zone into a space of peace, stability, and cooperation.
Within the framework of the event, attention was also given to the priority areas defined during Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as well as to the organization’s growing institutional and international role.
In addition, during a separate seminar organized for students from Poland, Vasif Huseynov delivered a presentation on the current state and development prospects of Azerbaijan-European Union relations, as well as Azerbaijan’s increasing role as a key transit and logistics hub in the Eurasian region.
