A major fire broke out in Tehran's Jannat Abad market

A major fire broke out at the Janat Abad market in the western part of the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The Daily Baku reports, citing state media.

According to reports, the Janat Abad market is located near the Niayesh shopping center. The fire broke out in a 2,000-square-meter warehouse housing retail pavilions and various spaces.

The fire is so large that it is visible from various parts of Tehran. The cause of the blaze is still unknown.

A Tehran fire department spokesperson reported that five fire brigades and necessary equipment, including fire trucks and oxygen tanks, have been dispatched to the scene.
