A drone targeting the diplomatic quarter in Riyadh has been intercepted

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense has reported the interception of an unmanned aerial vehicle heading toward the diplomatic quarter in the capital, Riyadh.

The relevant statement was published on the ministry’s social media accounts.

“The enemy’s unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down today while attempting to approach the diplomatic quarter,” the statement said.

The ministry added that another drone was later intercepted in the eastern region of the country.
