878 people released from conditional sentences under amnesty act

As of February 19, 878 people were released from conditional sentences under the Amnesty Act initiated by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to "The Daily Baku", this was announced by Namig Aliyev, Senior Prosecutor of the Department of Proceedings Outside Criminal Prosecution of the Prosecutor General's Office, at a seminar entitled "Amnesty Act: An Expression of State Humanism" at the Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office.

According to him, 826 of them were conditionally sentenced to imprisonment, conditionally released early and suspended, and 52 were conditionally sentenced to other sentences, conditionally released early and suspended.
