110 people detained in anti-ISIS operation in Istanbul

During an operation carried out against ISIS in Istanbul, a total of 110 suspects were detained, including 41 individuals who were found to have links with ISIS members in Yalova, The Daily Baku reports.


Within the framework of the investigation, it was determined that money collected in a mosque under the names of fitrah, zakat, and donations was directed to the terrorist organization, to its supporters held in camps in Syria, and to training–madrasa activities conducted within the mosque.
