The territory of the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority has been expanded to nearly 1,500 hectares

The territory of the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority has been expanded to nearly 1,500 hectares

Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on additional measures to ensure the operation of the Alat Free Economic Zone.

According to the decree, a 1,453.09-hectare land plot located within the administrative territory of the Alat settlement in the Garadagh District, Baku, Azerbaijan, designated as part of the zone in the land management plan prepared by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, has been transferred to the authorized body of the zone for permanent, free-of-charge use.

The Ministry of Economy and the Authorized Body of the Alat Free Economic Zone are tasked with addressing issues arising from the decree.
