Bodies of four Azerbaijanis killed in Azov drone attack returned home: MFA

The bodies of four Azerbaijani citizens who were killed in a drone attack on cargo vessels in the Azov Sea have been repatriated to Azerbaijan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs told The Daly Baku.

According to the ministry, the remains of the victims were brought back to the country on June 10.

"The bodies of four Azerbaijani citizens who lost their lives as a result of an unmanned aerial vehicle attack on cargo ships in the Azov Sea were returned to their homeland on June 10.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of our compatriots who perished in this tragedy," the ministry said in the statement.s
