Jordan intercepts and destroys 20 missiles launched from Iran

The Jordan Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed 20 missiles launched from Iran toward the kingdom's territory.

According to Jordan's state television, citing a statement from the Armed Forces General Command, the missiles were intercepted by the country's air defense systems and military aircraft.

A military source said that air defense units and aircraft of the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and destroyed 20 missiles launched from Iran toward the Azraq district in Jordan's Zarqa Governorate province.

No casualties or material damage were reported as a result of missile debris falling to the ground.

"The army's engineering units neutralized the missile remnants to ensure that no explosive materials remained," the statement said.
