Azerbaijan's team advance to European minifootball final in Slovakia

Azerbaijan's national minifootball team has qualified for the final of the European Championship in Slovakia.

The team coached by Elshad Guliyev defeated Serbia in the semifinals.

Regular time at Tipos Arena ended 1:1.

Khatay Baghirov scored for Azerbaijan.

The match then went to a penalty shootout. Azerbaijan were more accurate from the spot and booked their place in the final.

Azerbaijan will face Ukraine in the final. The match will be played on June 4.
