Zakharova: Moscow in close contact with Baku over incident with Azerbaijani sailors

Russia is in close contact with the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow and the country's Foreign Ministry regarding the attack on the Natra and Zircon vessels in the Sea of ​​Azov, reads a statement by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

"We are in close contact with the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan," the statement read.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said that five Azerbaijani citizens were killed and three more were injured in a drone attack on two foreign cargo ships in the Sea of ​​Azov.
