The memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran wassigned by US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on behalf of Washington, and by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on behalf of Tehran, Axios reporter Barak Ravid wrote on X, citing US officials.
The agreement to end hostilities between Tehran and Washington was signed by Trump, Vance and Ghalibaf.
The document is believed to have been signed electronically.
Ghalibaf wrote on X that Iran had taken a major step toward what he called final victory.
He said Iran was standing firm and would achieve victory with God's help.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the negotiating team would not, under any circumstances, step back from the policy set by the country's leadership. He said all activities would be carried out within the framework of national interests and the lines defined by the system.
Earlier, Pezeshkian said that if all provisions of the memorandum agreed between the United States and Iran were properly implemented, Tehran could create new realities in the region.
