Fifth anniversary of Shusha Declaration: Symbol of Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the signing of the Shusha Declaration, which cemented the allied nature of relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The Shusha Declaration on the allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is considered one of the most important political documents reflecting the fraternal ties and strategic partnership between the two states.
The document was signed on June 15, 2021, in Shusha by the Presidents of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The declaration has become an important strategic roadmap aimed at ensuring peace, security, and long-term cooperation in the region.
One of the key provisions of the document is to elevate the two countries' security cooperation to a qualitatively new level. At the same time, the declaration is also significant from an economic and geo-economic perspective.
The Shusha Declaration, which strengthened the legal basis for Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations, simultaneously serves as a key pillar of the emerging new cooperation environment in the region, as well as a strategy for stability and sustainable development.
