Russian shelling leaves some consumers without power in 8 regions of Ukraine

As a result of Russian shelling, some consumers in eight regions of Ukraine were temporarily left without power, ''The Daily Baku'' informs referring to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.

Power outages were reported in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Kherson regions.

"The situation is most critical in the Sumy region. The largest number of consumers there are without power due to damage to power facilities as a result of military action and Russian shelling," the ministry wrote in a Telegram message.

The Ministry of Energy emphasized that power workers are conducting emergency restoration work around the clock to restore power to all customers as quickly as possible.
