In the city of Kulsary, Kazakhstan, a 15-year-old student attacked his peers with an axe inside a school building. Two teenagers sustained minor injuries.
According to The Daily Baku, this was reported by Kazakh media.
The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The Atyrau Regional Police Department confirmed the attack.
"On February 5, Channel 102 received a report that a 10th-grade student in the city of Kulsary, after a conflict with his peers, committed an attack and left the school grounds. As a result, two students sustained minor injuries. The teenager has been identified and detained," police reported.
A criminal case has been opened for hooliganism.
"The 15-year-old suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility and registered with the internal affairs agencies. The materials have been sent to the juvenile affairs commission for a procedural decision," police said.
