Azerbaijan will strengthen the protection of cultural heritage in the liberated territories.

Measures will be taken to compensate for damage to cultural heritage in the liberated territories.

According to The Daily Baku, this is envisaged in the "Culture of Azerbaijan - 2040" concept approved by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

In this regard, it is planned to improve cultural heritage protection efforts, including archaeological sites in these territories, and to raise international awareness.

It is noted that an analysis of the current situation and systematization of available data are planned for 2026-2030. To this end, an action plan will be developed and approved, measures will be implemented to protect cultural heritage, including archaeological sites, and the results will be integrated into the e-culture platform.
