Azerbaijan's Central Bank issues an updated 50-manat banknote
According to the Central Bank, the updated 50-manat paper banknote will be put into circulation from December 25, 2025, The Daily Baku reports.

The new banknote has two innovations.

The first change is the replacement of the signature of the previous chairman of the Central Bank, Elman Rustamov, with the signature of the current chairman, Taleh Kazimov. The second change is the inclusion of the year of its production, "2025", on the banknote. Other design elements and technical parameters have remained unchanged. It is reported that the updated 50-manat paper banknote will be in circulation in parallel with the banknotes of the same denomination currently in circulation.
